Privacy roles can depend on the activity, the feature in use, and applicable law. Depending on context:
- KODEEFY may determine certain platform-level processing purposes for operating and securing the Services.
- Merchants may determine how customer information is collected and used through their stores.
- Third-party providers may independently process information under their own terms.
Exact controller, processor, service-provider, or equivalent legal roles may vary by activity and jurisdiction. Additional role designations will be published after formal legal review.

- Provide delivery details or create customer accounts where available
- Request support, submit forms or reviews, or choose payment methods
- Interact with analytics, cookies, or similar technologies
Merchants determine many storefront data practices and should provide their own privacy notices. KODEEFY may process customer information to provide the platform and related services. 6. Information collected automatically
KODEEFY and related providers may automatically collect:
- Cookies and session identifiers
- Server logs, security logs, and authentication events
- Page views, feature interactions, and performance metrics
- Device data and approximate location derived from IP address where used

AI-assisted features
Where AI-assisted tools are available, prompts, inputs, generated content, and usage metadata may be processed to provide those features. Merchants should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive data. Generated output should be reviewed before reliance.
- Third-party AI providers may process data where those features are enabled.
- Availability and providers may change.
- AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.
Training use, retention by AI providers, and related contractual limits will be described after provider-term review.
Marketing and service communications
Service communications may be necessary to operate accounts and stores. Optional marketing messages may be sent where permitted. Users may unsubscribe from optional marketing. Transactional and security notices may still be sent. WhatsApp, SMS, and email consent requirements may depend on applicable law and merchant configuration.
KODEEFY does not describe advertising use of personal information in this Policy unless a specific, disclosed advertising practice is later confirmed and described.
8. Legal or permitted processing purposes
Depending on applicable law, KODEEFY may process information for purposes such as:
- Providing requested services and performing contractual obligations
- Consent where consent is required
- Legitimate platform operations where permitted by law

- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims
Region-specific legal bases will be published after formal legal review.
10. Payments and financial information
KODEEFY uses reasonable safeguards and may rely on supported payment providers to process sensitive payment details. Payment-provider terms and privacy policies apply.
- Payment providers may process payment credentials. KODEEFY should not be assumed to store full payment-card credentials unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise and is confirmed in product documentation.
- KODEEFY may receive transaction references, payment status, provider name, amounts, fees, settlement status, and failure reasons.
- Cash-on-delivery details may be stored as order information.
- Bank-transfer proof or manual approval records may be processed where those payment flows are enabled.
11. Domains, shipping, and third-party integrations
Information may be shared with or processed by providers needed to operate features, including domain registrars, DNS and SSL providers, payment gateways, couriers, email and SMS providers, WhatsApp providers, cloud hosting and storage, analytics tools, app stores, support tools, tax or invoicing providers, and AI service providers where enabled.
- Only information reasonably required for the integration should be used.
- Third-party privacy terms apply.
- Providers and availability may change as the platform evolves.
- Users should review provider terms where relevant to their configuration.
12. How information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed in categories such as:
- Service providers that help operate KODEEFY
- Integrations selected or configured by merchants
- Professional advisors where reasonably necessary
- Legal, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted
- Fraud, abuse, and security prevention
- Business transfer, merger, acquisition, financing, or restructuring, subject to appropriate protections
- With user consent where consent is the basis for disclosure
- Publicly when merchants intentionally publish store content
KODEEFY does not intend to sell personal information in exchange for money unless clearly disclosed and legally permitted. Additional sale-or-sharing disclosures will be published after formal legal review where required.
13. International data handling
KODEEFY and its providers may operate in different countries. Information may be processed outside the country where a user or customer is located. Hosting and provider locations may change as infrastructure evolves.
Safeguards may be used where required by applicable law. Specific international-transfer mechanisms will be published after formal legal review.
14. Data retention
Different data categories may be retained for different periods. Retention may depend on:
- Account status and merchant instructions
- Order history, tax, invoice, and dispute needs
- Fraud prevention, security logs, and backups
- Technical limits, provider requirements, and legal obligations
A detailed retention schedule will be published after legal and operational confirmation.
15. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Depending on the feature and environment, safeguards may include access controls, role-based permissions, authentication, encryption in transit where supported, secure infrastructure, logging and monitoring, backups where configured, incident response processes, and restricted staff access.
No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely risk-free. KODEEFY does not claim absolute protection, guaranteed backups, or unverified compliance certifications in this Policy.
Security incidents
KODEEFY may investigate suspected security incidents. Affected users or authorities may be notified where legally required. Merchants should report incidents promptly. Merchant-controlled systems, devices, and credentials remain merchant responsibilities. This Policy does not promise a fixed notification deadline unless a deadline is later confirmed by applicable law or policy.
16. Privacy rights and choices
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights that can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, communication preferences, and the ability to complain to a relevant authority.
- KODEEFY may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
- Some storefront-customer requests may need to be handled primarily by the merchant.
- Legal, security, retention, or operational exceptions may apply.
- Records may be retained where legally required even after a deletion request.
Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected]. KODEEFY does not currently describe an automated privacy-request portal in this Policy.

- Notifying KODEEFY of suspected security incidents that may affect the platform
- Avoiding unauthorized marketing or misuse of customer information
Merchants should not use KODEEFY customer-data tools for spam, harassment, or unlawful profiling.
18. Children and age-related privacy
KODEEFY is intended for business and commerce use. Users must have legal capacity to use the platform. Age thresholds and child-privacy rules differ by jurisdiction.
- Merchants should not knowingly collect children’s information unlawfully.
- Suspected unauthorized collection of child data should be reported promptly.
Minimum-age and child-privacy rules will be published after formal legal review.
19. Account closure and data deletion
Merchants may request account closure. Data deletion may be subject to legal, security, payment, tax, dispute, backup, retention, and technical requirements. Some information may remain in backups temporarily.
- Storefront data export may depend on available tools and account status at the time of the request.
- Deleting a store does not automatically remove information held by third-party providers. Users may need to contact those providers separately.
KODEEFY does not promise instant deletion in every case.
20. Changes to this Privacy Policy
KODEEFY may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when changes take effect.
Where reasonably practical, material changes may be communicated by email, dashboard notice, website notice, or another reasonable method. Prior versions may be retained where practical. Continued use may be subject to the updated Policy where legally permitted.
